- 6 Months – Classroom Training (Theory & Practical Sessions)

Course content
The Barista NVQ Level 4 course covers both practical and theoretical areas essential for professional success, including:
- Open, arrange and close the coffee shop/café
- Maintain personal, food & beverage and coffee shop / cafe hygiene and safety
- Prepare basic coffee based beverages and non-coffee based beverages
- Prepare advanced coffee based beverages, non-coffee based beverages and related food
- Provide service to the customer
- Take orders and handle payments
- Handle customer complaints
- Practice workplace communication and interpersonal relations
Certification
Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 4 in Barista, a nationally recognized certification that validates advanced barista skills, customer service expertise, and café management competence.
